| Retta was just two years old when she came into my life. Through the years she has taught me more than I could ever have taught her. Her grace and beauty not withstanding, she was also kind and very wise. She readily adopted the people who eventually came into my life; my husband, children and grandchildren. She shared her life with each of us and we are all the better for it. Although her days in the showring and long trail rides were over she enjoyed her role as grandma to the foals born each year. It was Retta who began my love of the Morgan and fuels the drive to continue this great breed . She has been with me over half my life, it will not be the same without her. ~ Lani |
